I see what you’re saying, Jeff, and I appreciate your support. Just a few minutes ago I saw that he is justifying his deletion of my comment as being due to my “offensive name-calling.” I did no such thing.

It becomes increasingly frustrating how one rarely finds people with whom one can both disagree and have an intelligent conversation with, all at the same time.

I empathize with you getting your post deleted. Over at S&R, they only tolerate diversity as long as it falls within their general belief system. Many of the folks over there are over-educated and have a resentment of those who take risks and make money. They honestly believe that since they are so educated, that the money and success should be part of the natural order of things. I've been subjected to much invective and snark over there. Regarding Sam, he is a legend in his own mind. Having to remind everyone that he's a PhD(albeit in media from a minor university) is a character flaw, and shows an inferiority complex. I'm a PhD from a very top school in Chemistry and don't mind what title you call me, be it Mr., Doctor, or hey you. These people blame the rich for everything, and have a pronounced victim mentality. Whenever I go over there, my rational arguments are greeted with invective and irrational rants. I even have had my life threatened, and one of their readers stalked me when they found out my home address and tried to assault me. The celebrated tolerance of those folks is that they are tolerant of anyone as long as you agree with them. I will say that Chris and Jim Booth are the sane ones over there and are perfect gentlemen. The rest of them support higher taxes because they will never have to pay them...in other words, they want to live on someone else's dime. Hell, a great amount of their posts are still blaming Bush for all the woes of the world, and their Messiah Obama was supposed to take care of that immediately. Somehow, they have become tools and don't even realize it.
