Brand New just reviewed Google’s recent favicon change, and the comments are an entertaining read, indeed. My favorite is Eric Price’s observation: “All I can think of whenever I see it is ‘Cosby sweater.’” Funny.
I don’t really like this favicon, but then I don’t really give a crap, either. What really gets me is how Google manages to force Firefox to reload the favicon so effortlessly, while us peasants have to jump through burning rings of fire to load new favicons when we redesign our sites. Damn you, Google! Cough it up!
